We just finished leading our second (one session on 7/4 the other on 7/18) day-long Overture animation workshop at Snowfarm's high school summer camp! Two groups of highly enthusiastic, incredibly skilled artists went all out for 6 hours over lights boxes and computer monitors - it was impressive and very encouraging!

As before we focused on basic structures and movement and key animation concepts and the students all came up with their own inventive takes. We've shared some photos from the two days below.

２年目のスノーファームアートスタジオでの夏の高校生ワークショップに参加してきました。昨日7/18と7/4の２回です。（昨年の模様）

今回もまずは優美な死骸ゲームをやって少し緊張をほぐしてから、1日（６時間）でキャラクターデザインとそのキャラクターを動かしましょうという、簡単でもあり大変なものでした。本当に毎回驚くのがここに集まる生徒たちの集中力のすごさ。ランチタイムが始まって何度か呼びかけても誰もテーブルから立ち上がろうとしないし、最後も本来は３時半で片付け開始なのに４時過ぎてもまだ作業に集中してる子がいて…気持ちはとてもわかる。一回始めるとはまっちゃうんだよね〜と思いながらもほらほら急げと移動を促さないといけなかったのがちょっと残念でした。でも家に戻って続きをやればいいんだよ。コラボの相手を見つけてもうどこまでもいってほしいなあ。２回のワークショップの写真をいくつか紹介します。
