A short test animation for a larger animation project.
Two newfound friends struggle to run a cafe in a desert city held by an intrusive government. Harold, a wandering storyteller and performer, furry and magical, is looking to escape the town and desert and return to the road while Chim, a native of the desert, born from a kind of breathing clay, slowly unearths the secrets of his ancestors. Together they push the boundaries of spirit and the subconscious through their unique performances at the cafe, the uses of desert plant life and their troubled, intertwined dreams.
